Publication Ethics
Maintaining Integrity, Transparency and Excellence in Scholarly Publishing
The Journal of Xi'an University of Architecture & Technology is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and scientific integrity throughout the editorial and peer-review process.
The journal follows internationally accepted ethical publishing practices and encourages authors, reviewers, and editors to uphold honesty, transparency, originality, and responsible research conduct during manuscript preparation and publication.
Plagiarism
Authors must submit only original work. Any copied content without proper citation or permission will be treated as plagiarism and may result in immediate rejection.
Duplicate Submission
A manuscript must not be submitted simultaneously to more than one journal while it is under review.
Duplicate Publication
Publishing substantially identical work that has already appeared elsewhere without proper disclosure is considered unethical.
Redundant Publication
Authors should avoid submitting manuscripts that significantly overlap with previously published or accepted articles.
Data Fabrication & Falsification
Research data must be genuine. Fabricating, manipulating, or selectively omitting data without scientific justification is strictly prohibited.
Authorship
Only individuals who have made significant scholarly contributions should be listed as authors. Others should be acknowledged appropriately.
Citation Manipulation
Authors should cite only relevant literature. Excessive or unnecessary citations intended solely to increase citation counts are unethical.
Editorial Responsibility
Editors and reviewers maintain confidentiality, impartiality, and fairness throughout the peer-review and publication process.
Every manuscript submitted to the journal is evaluated through a rigorous editorial process to ensure scientific quality and ethical compliance.

If any manuscript is found to violate the journal's publication ethics policies at any stage of submission, review, or publication, appropriate editorial actions will be taken.
Immediate Rejection
The submitted manuscript will be rejected if any ethical misconduct is identified.
Rejection of Other Submissions
Any additional manuscripts submitted by the same author(s) may also be rejected.
Submission Restriction
Authors may be prohibited from submitting new manuscripts to the journal for a minimum period of three years.
Editorial Board Restriction
Authors involved in serious ethical violations may be restricted from serving on the Editorial Board for a minimum of three years.
